Radiohead's creep in flash

Check out the superb flash execution of alternative rock band Radiohead's song Creep and I bet you'll watch it at least twice before you close the window.

As for me, all I can say after watching the swf file is:

It's all but a creep
It's so special
Why the hell I didn't notice it until now

It does belong here

And if you haven't heard the song before, I'm sure you'll head for the lyrics. Well, I'll make it easy for you, find the lyrics here. Creep is penned by Thom Yorke.

Mother of 18 kids and counting

One year of marriage and the words “When are you giving good news” have started echoing in our ears. And so are the questions like how many kids do you plan to have. All right, both me and my wife adore kids a lot but we wish to have one little angel after a year or so. We can’t stop admiring kids in malls, weddings, birthday parties and get-togethers. But obviously, lunch time discussions with married friends revolve around their kids, the cute acts of the children, the importance of having just one or maximum two kids…

Today, one of my colleagues mentioned about this lady Michelle Duggar who already has 18 children and is pregnant with her 19th child. Unique and how! I believe she has been pregnant all these years and wonder how she manages. I hope they have considered that they are adding to the world’s population. But in any case, kudos to her and the family! I am sure by the time you read this, she might be on her way to deliver her next child.

Are we inspired? Well, one thing is for sure – if Michelle Duggar can raise her 19 kids perfectly, we should be able to give our one kid (or two may be) the best in life!

Vegetarian, no-more-web-savvy spider!

If you thought that only humans are opting for vegetarianism these days, this one will surprise you. Bagheera Kiplingi, a South American spider species, eats only leaf buds and rejects carnivorous stuff! Bagheera Kiplingi is apparently the only vegetarian spider of about 40,000 spider species. Unless of course if spider-man is vegetarian ;)

Also, unlike most of us, Bagheera Kiplingi doesn’t spend time on the web and prefers to stay with the family ;) Since the spider doesn’t need to catch any prey, instead of spinning webs it builds family nests. Now should we learn something from the spider like King Robert the Bruce did?

Jade Goody tribute edition published by OK! ahead of her death

OK! publishes Jade Goody tribute edition ahead of her death - Telegraph

A Jade Goody tribute edition of celebrity magazine OK! has gone on sale – even though the dying reality television star has not yet lost her fight against cancer.

The front cover of the issue carries the phrases "In Loving Memory" and "Jade Goody 1981-2009", sentiments usually reserved for gravestones and funerals.

The weekly magazine paid £700,000 for exclusive coverage of Goody's wedding to Jack Tweed earlier this month, and appears to have risked publishing the ambiguously-worded memorial edition so this Tuesday's issue will not end up looking out of date.

Can't think of anything unique

Alrite, I am married now and for obvious reasons my brain fails to work (just like me). Will come up with something unique very soon. Until then, let me know if you come across something interesting.

Who cares for hygiene when deos are available

Would you rather apply a deodorant instead of taking a bath daily? Would you rather spray a room freshener instead of cleaning your room everyday? May be not. But this is exactly how the garbage woes of Mumbai city are going to be dealt with.

Some news report that to avoid the stink and the inconvenience that arises from Deonar and Mulund dumping grounds, the BMC has decided to spray the entire area with deodorant. Apparently 42,000 litres of a herbal deodorant at a cost of Rs 60.90 lakhs has come to 'relieve' the people residing nearby.

Well, though I appreciate that at least some initiative has been taken, I wonder if this could be the only solution. What happened about the earlier hoopla about people separating the garbage in two bags before disposing? Is something being done about it?

Or should we just pass by the garbage dumping grounds, take in a deep breath and say, "Wow, this garbage smells good".

Man, you are pregnant!

Delivery boys is a common term. But who would have guessed that it can have a literal meaning too! As per the latest news, a man has delivered a baby girl in Oregon.

The man, Thomas Beatie, was actually born female but got a hormonal sex change. Now his wife was unable to conceive and the couple decided that Thomas should give birth to the child. What should I say, his wife must be really lucky to have him in her life!

NASA's Phoenix lands on Mars

There's something on Mars that didn't exist earlier! NASA's Phoenix spacecraft has successfully landed in the northern polar region of Mars today. Now follows a 3-month examination of a site chosen for a likelihood of having frozen water within reach of the lander's robotic arm. This looks unique for now, but you never know in the future NASA might come up with more exciting discoveries that this one would seem like just nothing.

The journey that started on 4th August 2007 had been 422 million mile long. Here's wishing NASA all the success.
